SHOP LOQL MAKES IT EASIER TO SHOP FROM SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES

New marketplace to purchase locally branded merchandise, Shop Loql, announced its public launch at shoploql.com, partnering with small businesses throughout the United States. Founders Alex Czechowski and Nate Winn were inspired to provide an additional revenue stream for small, local businesses, while charging them $0 to sell on their platform, and requiring little to no effort on the business’s part. 

 

“During the pandemic, we have witnessed so many of our favorite local businesses struggling with closures, and thought we could find a scalable solution that would help them weather the storm, and continue to add value post-pandemic,” Alex Czechowski noted. 

 

Nate Winn, a Long Island native, added “between my dad working as a chef for many local restaurants in the area, and spending years myself working for many of our Long Island partners, I've built so many relationships with business owners in my community. Talking to them about different struggles they've been facing operating their businesses, I knew there was a gap we could fill for them." 

 

Shop Loql currently features businesses in Long Island, NY, Dunkirk-Fredonia, NY, Bentonville-Rogers, AR and Austin, TX, and plans to expand to additional states. Products featured on the site include branded t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats, water bottles, bags, glasses, mugs, koozies, coasters, face masks, home decor items and a variety of other products. 

 

Businesses can choose to fulfill their own orders with their products they choose to sell on Shop Loql, or they can elect to participate in Shop Loql's fulfillment service to avoid having to print and ship their own inventory of items. Given that some businesses may not have usable merch designs suitable for print, Shop Loql also assists with design services to help curate products for businesses to sell. Business owners then get paid out on a biweekly basis, directly deposited in their bank account from Shop Loql. Businesses can also order merchandise in bulk at a discounted price through Shop Loql.
